SEE ALLOur STREAM system will produce enough chlorine to treat 240,000 liters (60,000 gallons) of water per day at a chlorine dose of 2.5 mg/l. This system operates on 110/220 VAC or a 12 VDC source such as a car battery or solar panel. The system is compact and robust, the size of a briefcase. At maximum capacity, the system could treat enough water to fill 20L jerry cans for 11,500 families at a daily cost of $1.38, or $0.00012 per day per family. This system is also ideal for surface decontamination. USAID has conducted an environmental assessment on the system enabling it to be used in USAID funded programs.
Our innovations are providing safe water to our clients, as well as reducing the transmission of disease in medical centers. NGOs have purchased hundreds of systems to prevent the spread of waterborne disease and to reduce the rate of infection in medical facilities in low income settings throughout the planet. People love our technology and the safety it provides, especially mothers responsible for their family’s health and government officials tasked with meeting health standards. No one wants to drink water with disease-causing microorganisms, and people in low-income settings need a way to treat their water in an affordable and sustainable manner. Our technology addresses these key criteria very effectively.
