About Nordic Development Fund
The Nordic Development Fund is financed by Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden and was started in 1989. It works in development with other finance institutions to address climate change in low income and lower middle income countries. This organization attempts to both mitigate the impact of climate change and poverty alleviation. The Nordic Development Fund focuses on mitigating and adapting to climate change, along with poverty reduction, development effectiveness, inclusive development, and a proactive approach on gender responsiveness.
